eLearning brings the power of the Donor2 classroom to your computer via the
Internet. With a variety of topics from which to choose each week, eLearning offers you an
affordable, convenient and timely alternative to continue your Donor2 education and maximize
your use of Donor2.
Affordable. With no travel expenses (air, hotel, car, meals, etc.),
you can immediately see the cost benefits. And because eLearning is targeted to specific topics, you
can apply the cost of training to specific educational needs, without having to enroll in a complete
Donor2 training class.
Convenient. You never need to leave your desk to participate
in eLearning.
Timely. With dozens of courses from which to select each
month that rotate to match the season, eLearning offers solutions as timely as your needs.
With each eLearning session, you will be able to view the instructor's presentation, ask
questions and participate with other users across the country.
Is eLearning a substitute for
classroom training?
Classroom training has very strong advantages
especially to organizations and users new to Donor2.
However, for new staff of organizations currently
using Donor2, eLearning now offers two packages
designed to cover the materials included in the
Fundamentals and Intermediate classroom sessions.
For more information about these packages, visit the
eLearning website in the Support section.
How long do the courses last?
Each course may vary in length, based on the subject material that will be covered,
but most courses last 2 hours.
Can I take eLearning Sessions if I'm using Donor2 Version 11 or before?
Absolutely. Although eLearning sessions are taught using Donor2 Version 12, all of the concepts
and processes are pretty much the same. There may be an exercise or two that you will not be
able to complete because it involves a new feature, but it offers a great opportunity for you to see
the new version of Donor2 in action.
Do I need to install special software?
Not at all. All you'll need to participate is a computer with at least a 200MHZ processor,
an internet connection (with at least a 56K connection speed), and an internet browser (either Netscape
or MS Internet Explorer) with version 4.0 or greater.
You will also need access to a phone to listen to the instructor during the course.
How much does it cost?
Each session cost $250 if purchased separately,
but priced at $200 if more than 1 session is
purchased at the same time. When you consider the cost of travel (hotel, air, meals, etc.), and the time taken away
from the office, it's not difficult to see the value of eLearning.
How can I enroll?
To enroll online, you must first visit the Donor2
support site. You must be a registered support
site user, and have an active support contract with
Donor2. You can use your MasterCard or Visa to enroll in a
course.
Classes are subject to availability.
