Company History |

Since 1984, Systems Support Services has been providing software and support to non-profit
organizations nationwide. In 1987, Larry Sanderson, Chairman and CEO, was approached by an
organization and its fund-raising consultants.
The group identified a need for a fund-raising software that was user-friendly yet powerful
enough to manage a comprehensive development program. Thus Donor2 was created.
Soon Donor2 became known for its innovative features such as on-line executive summaries,
user-friendly data entry, code-assisted entry with descriptions, unlimited comments, a custom report
writer that was flexible and supported, relational database design, non-proprietary data structures,
the most comprehensive honor/memorial system, and more.
Today, Donor2 has become the most comprehensive fund-raising software solution available by
working with our clients to make sure we meet their changing needs.

A Plan of Action |
| |
A Plan of Action is a carefully thought-out and executed four-step program we have
developed over 20 years of our experience with implementing comprehensive software
solutions.
This program is designed to efficiently take you from your existing database to a fully
implemented fund-raising system as quickly as possible.
Each part of the Plan is crucial to the full implementation of Donor2 for your
organization: |

Step 1: Planning Session |
| |
The planning process consists of first reviewing your current and future development
activities. Using this as the basis, we then analyze with you and your staff, your existing
data and develop a systematic approach to conversion.
We also determine the coding necessary to manage your future fund-raising program.
The defining of a well thought-out coding scheme allows for changes to accommodate
future development activities as well as to avoid the "code of the day syndrome" we see so
often in the data we convert. |

Step 2: Data Conversion |
| |
The conversion of your existing data is crucial to a successful implementation. We believe
that only a conversion that is customized for your particular data is acceptable.
It is during this time that your data can be standardized and cleaned up to correct the
inconsistencies of your past data entry.
Using the information collected during the planning process your data is converted and
you are now able to truly compare "apples to apples" in reporting and to manage your
fund-raising activities. During the conversion process we are able to address capitalization and
provide de-duping services. |

Step 3: Training |
| |
Your ability to fully use Donor2 software depends on receiving proper training on its use. The
training is available either at your offices or at the Donor2 Institute in Charlotte, North Carolina.
We offer core courses for the fundamental and intermediate levels, and more specific
courses ideal for follow-up and refresher training through our eLearning program. Our
classes are led by instructors that understand a professional development office's needs.
Upon completion of training you are fully prepared to begin using Donor2. |

Step 4: On-Site Implementation |
|
Planning, conversion and training provide the beginning steps on your way to fully using
the Donor2 system. It is in our Implementation phase however, that you are approaching
the fullest use of Donor2.
Implementation takes place at your site a number of weeks after your system has been
installed and you have been working with your data. An analyst from Donor2 that is familiar
with your planning and conversion needs will work with you to verify that you are utilizing all
the capabilities of Donor2.
This is hands on with you and your data - not merely additional training. With
Implementation we can be sure you will be fully working in the shortest time
possible. |
